Terms of Service
Effective date: July 30th, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Fyffe Ventures LLC, a California limited liability company (“we,” “us,” “our”) governing your use of the Pardis app. By using the app, you agree to them.
If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the extent these Terms are silent.
1. Parents and children
Pardis is designed for children to use under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
Accounts may only be created, and purchases and consents may only be given, by an adult parent or guardian. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18 years old and are the parent or legal guardian of the children you add. You accept these Terms on your own behalf and on behalf of your children who use the app.
Parent-only areas of the app are protected by a grown-ups gate. You are responsible for not sharing gate answers, your account password, or your device passcode with your child.
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
2. Your family's family
You may invite another parent or guardian to join your family using an invite code. Doing so gives that person access to your children's names and learning progress, and the ability to manage that data. Invite codes expire after seven days and may be used once. You are responsible for who you share an invite code with. One person may belong to one family at a time.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your family's personal, non-commercial use.
All content in the app — characters, artwork, audio recordings, curriculum, and software — is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, publicly perform, or create derivative works from it.
4. Free tier and Premium
- Free tier. The first learning world is free, permanently, with no account required.
- Premium unlocks all learning worlds. It is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase, at the prices shown in the app before you confirm any purchase. Prices vary by region and are set through the app stores.
- Free trial. Where a trial is offered, its length is shown in the app before purchase (currently seven days). At the end of the trial it converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Any unused portion of a trial is forfeited when you purchase.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the displayed price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your app store account is charged at confirmation of purchase and within 24 hours before each renewal.
- How to cancel.Manage or cancel at any time in your device's subscription settings: App Store → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app, or deleting your Pardis account, does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
- Restore.Use “Restore Purchases” in the app to regain Premium on a new device using the same store account.
- Price changesapply only to renewals after notice is given through the app store's standard mechanism, and you may cancel before they take effect.
5. Accounts and deletion
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for the security of your credentials.
You may delete an individual child's data, all children's data, or your entire account at any time from the parent dashboard. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Account deletion removes your data from our systems but does notcancel an active app store subscription — cancel that in your device's subscription settings.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent the law expressly permits;
- interfere with or circumvent its security measures, including the grown-ups gate, entitlement checks, or rate limits;
- use automated means to access the app or our servers, or attempt to gain access to data belonging to other families;
- use the app in violation of any applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Pardis is an educational aid. We do not guarantee any particular learning outcome. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) twenty US dollars.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud — or affects your mandatory statutory consumer rights.
EU/UK consumers: you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. By confirming a purchase you request immediate delivery of Premium access and acknowledge that you lose that right once delivery begins.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the app. This does not apply to the extent a claim arises from our own conduct.
10. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these Terms. We will notify you of material changes in the app or by email, and your continued use after notice constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the app at any time.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity — survive.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, for any dispute, except that either party may seek relief in small-claims court where eligible.
Consumers retain any mandatory protections and any right to bring proceedings in the courts of their own country of residence where local law provides for it.
